Integrate using Zapier

Overview

Zapier is a powerful automation tool that enables seamless connectivity between different applications, ensuring a more efficient and cohesive operation.

To facilitate smooth integration between Productiv and Zapier, enabling users to automate workflows and connect Productiv with other applications within the Zapier ecosystem, we've made Productiv available on Zapier's app directory. It is a private app currently, so it can only be accessed via the invite link.

There will be two actions available in Zapier for Productiv users:

How to get started with Productiv on Zapier?

Step 1: Create a New Zap

Step 2: Choose a Trigger

  • You will be prompted to choose a trigger from the list of available apps in Zapier.
  • Choose the trigger event that will initiate the workflow.

Step 3: Choose an Action

  • After setting up the trigger, you'll need to choose an action app to define what happens next in the workflow.
  • Select Productiv at the step when you want to integrate Productiv workflows with your Zap.
  • Select the event that you wish to perform in the workflows.

Step 4: Authorization

  • If you haven't connected your Productiv account before, you'll need to do so. Follow the authorization prompts to grant Zapier access to your Productiv account.
  • You will need to provide Client Id, and Client Secret to Zapier. These can be accessed by following the steps mentioned here.

Step 5: Configure action details

  • Depending on the action event you selected, you will need to configure Callback Token, and other additional options.
  • To receive Callback Token, check Custom Integration.

Step 6: Save your Zap

  • Configure additional actions from Zapier's App Directory, according to your requirements.
  • Finally, give your Zap a descriptive name to easily identify it in your Zapier dashboard.
  • Click Turn on Zap to save and activate your Zap.
